Dear Alumni
The alumni convention- 2007 of Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering college is scheduled to be held on 24th and 25th of November 2007. It is at this juncture I can say that the role of alumni of this institute has always been keen to contribute their full and unconditional support, therefore the focus of this convention would be on sharing dovetailing of "Vision 2020" of this institute with the Alumni.
The alumni of MMMEC are treasure available to its Alma Mater which has vast experience and expertise in almost every field of life such as education, industry, business, research, administration etc. Being the premier institute of the Purvanchal it is great challenge for us to cope with high expectation of the society.
To begin with, a participative process involving Government, Administration, Faculty, alumni and students is called to ensure all around commitment towards achieving 'Vision 2020'
All the alumni along with their family are most cordially invited to join and celebrate the visit of their Alma Mater.

Felicitation
The 1982 batch would be felicitated for completing Silver Jubilee along with 1997 batch for completing a decade during inaugural function of the convention. The alumni of these batches (i.e.1982 and 1997) are specially invited for felicitation. Alumni are requested to confirm their participation as early as possible to help us to plan properly the felicitation function.

The alumni are requested to register himself at mmmec.net. The registration fee is as follows-

Registration / Donation money may be sent in advance and contribution of more than 1000/- will be acknowledged on the website.
The alumni are also requested to give this event a wide publicity in their respective regions. If accommodation is required kindly indicate in the registration form and send the accommodation charges in advance.

Alumni Directory
On the occasion of the Alumni Convention'07 an updated Alumni Directory-cum-Souvenir would be released. This will be available in print form as well as in CD ROM and would be made available to alumni.
Advertisement are invited for inclusion in the alumni directory to help us raise some funds for meeting out the expenses.

Accommodation
The accommodation can be reserved in any of the hotels of Gorakhpur. e.g. Clarks Grand Inn, President, Park Regency, Shivoy, Avantika etc. if advance payment is made. Tariff ranges from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 3000/-. Limited accommodation can be arranged in the institute hostels, on first come first basis. |
Payments
All the payments should be made through DD/Cheque (add Rs 30/- for outstation cheques) drawn in favour of "Alumni Association, Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur", payable at Gorakhpur. You can directly transfer any payment in MAA account lying with SBI, MMMEC branch, Gorakhpur, in A/c No. 10489142795 and inform the secretary.
